About this event

Volunteer Alexandria has a 42-year legacy of caring for Alexandria - its people and its nonprofits. We mobilize and inspire people to donate time and talents to support our nonprofit partners and community at large. This celebration honors all Alexandria volunteers who give from the heart.

All of our lives have changed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and thousands of individuals and families still need help. The number of families asking for groceries went from 400 to 4,000. Which means more volunteers are needed to pack groceries, deliver meals, and much more. Due to COVID, mental health is impacting many more children, youth, adults, and older adults and volunteers assist to address mental health.

Let us all take a moment to thank EVERY volunteer. Awardees have been nominated by the organization they serve.

Business casual.

While this is a free event, donations are welcome to support our work in connecting people, 6 years old and older, to the many community needs.
